Dancin Mélange Chardonnay 2020

The nose of this Chardonnay, made with fruit from a neighboring vineyard, opens with aromatics of dusty orchard, wet stones, nearly ripe peach, and a touch of bubble gum. The wine moves from earthy elements on the nose to buoyant fruit on the palate as juicy notes of pear and quince pop, but don’t overwhelm, and allow for some softer floral notes and gentle acidity to shine through. The wine finishes with a creamy texture that balances with the acidity and extends the length of the palate alongside terse flavors of lemon drops, bubblegum, and nectarine pit.
